This is the SFP Media Buddy. It’s amazing.
It may look like a weird Raspberry Pi, and it really does, but this allows you to rescue your WAS110 SFP stick back to default settings using just Putty and a serial connection.
Bear in mind, I had no idea how to do this, I was completely flummoxed until getting in touch with the 8311 community and going step by step to resolve my issue.
This board was like $60 but fixed the issues I was having with my WAS110 and allowed me to get almost a 50% boost in my internet speeds.
Thank you so much to both Whinis and the 8311 community for their help with fixing my fuck ups, I will treasure this little board forever.
