I realise that I have spent the last day justifying to myself as to why I was going to be happy with an erroneous purchase. As such, Eugene is going back to the Amazon, and I’ve ordered his bigger brother, the Plus SKU to hopefully fill in the gaps and bad taste the non-Plus SKU left in my mouth.
Still, I dont have a 10 gig ethernet slot on my rack at the moment, so Ive also ordered an SFP+ to ethernet transceiver. Fingers crossed it all works out! Stay tuned.
